How to choose a Fenix flashlight
Pick by intended use first. For pocket carry, start with an EDC flashlight under 100 grams. For duty and professional work, look at tactical flashlights with instant-access strobe and durable construction. For long-distance spotting, see the long-range throwers and LEP lights. Once you know the category, the specs that matter most are maximum lumens for raw output, beam distance in metres for throw, and total runtime at your most-used brightness level.
Batteries, charging, and build
Most Fenix flashlights run on rechargeable 18650 or 21700 lithium-ion cells, and many include a built-in USB-C port so you can top up without removing the battery. Spare cells and smart chargers are sold separately for users who want to rotate batteries. All lights in this collection are backed by Canadian warranty support and ship from Ontario, Canada.
