Both dual-tail-switch pure tactical lights with very similar output — TK20R V2.0 at 3,000 lumens and TK16 V2.0 at 3,100 — but they split on throw, size, and charging philosophy. TK20R V2.0 is the thrower: 475 m reach, 152 mm and 204 g with battery, using the non-USB ARB-L21-5000 cell with a hidden USB-C charging port built into the light itself. TK16 V2.0 is shorter and lighter (143 mm, 112 g bare) at 380 m reach, ships with the ARB-L21-5000U cell — the “U” battery has USB built in, so you can charge it by plugging the cell directly into USB, no port on the light — and adds a stainless steel tungsten strike bezel. Both use the pure tactical dual tail switch scheme. Pick TK20R V2.0 if you want maximum throw in this class; pick TK16 V2.0 if you want a smaller, lighter body, a self-charging cell, and an impact strike bezel, at a lower price.
